Here Comes the Cold

Across our state, the temperatures are dropping, and many of our NC Discount Propane customers will be kicking on their heat, heaters, and fire logs for the first time over the next ten days. 

First frost is already on the mountaintops, and the rest of us will awaken to icy yards in the next few weeks.

Please make sure you change your HVAC filters, have your system checked and serviced, and check your smoke and carbon monoxide detectors. Here are more safety tips for propane usage. (HERE)

Propane delivery times are going to slow as we enter what we call the Cold Rush. Many propane consumers put off ordering more propane until the last minute, which will spike calls for deliveries and service between now and the end of November.

PLEASE CHECK YOUR TANK LEVELS AND IF YOU ARE NEAR OR BELOW 40%, YOU SHOULD ORDER A NEW PROPANE DELIVERY AT OUR $1.99/gallon rate, which is the LOWEST LOCKED IN RATE IN THE STATE!

Remember that our propane deliveries can take up to seven business days under normal operating conditions, and peak demand, bad weather, and supply chain issues can increase delivery times.
