Watch out for Suburban Propane!

We have received reports from two NC Discount Propane members (in the last 3 days) that Suburban is showing up unannounced, attempting to fill tanks they do not own with propane priced north of $4 per gallon!

This is not a surprise to us because we've seen Suburban Propane in the Raleigh area do this many times when the weather warms, and it really bothers propane customers to have unrequested & unwanted propane deliveries at sky high prices they never agreed to!

Perhaps these unauthorized propane dumps are part of Suburban's business plan? Our two savings group members luckily were able to spot the Suburban trucks and turn them away. Please keep an extra eye on your tanks and defend them against unwanted expensive propane deliveries from other companies like Suburban.

One really good way to protect your tanks from them is to go ahead and email Bill@ncdiscountpropane.com to get your tank topped off at our low rates to leave no room in your tank for Suburban.

We do not recommend locking your tank as emergency responders would need access to the tank controls in the event of an emergency. Sometimes Suburban shows up trying to fill tanks at addresses they have specifically been told in writing to stay away from.

Keep an eye out and turn them away if they try to fill your tank without your permission at prices you did not agree to.
