We are pleased to notify all NC Discount Propane customers that our propane deliveries are now all back within normal operating conditions and are being made in less than seven business days, which is competitive timing. We apologize to those of you who had to wait a few extra days for your deliveries during the cold snap right on top of the holidays.
For a week or two near the end of December 2025, 90% of our deliveries were still being made in less than 7 business days, as we strive for, but some were going as long as 10 business days, which is why we alerted our clients to these delays as soon as the problem was detected... just two days before Christmas. (Review our prior alert HERE)
It appears that many propane consumers delayed ordering more propane during the warmer-than-usual season until the first severe cold snap hit in mid-December, after which many ordered at once, overloading the supply chain and increasing delivery times.
You can help to keep our NC Discount Propane deliveries efficient and working well for all parties by ordering more propane when your tank hits or drops below 40% please. Your chances of getting caught in the middle of a cold rush increase if you put off ordering until bad weather threatens.Thank you for your patience, understanding, and participation with NC Discount Propane.
By sticking together and combining our propane purchases, we have been able to obtain far better prices and service than the statewide averages. We will continue to monitor propane supply chain conditions and deliveries to our NC Discount Propane clients and alert you all if we detect any issues. NC Discount Propane will always put our customers first when any difficulties arise. If anyone has a tank at or below 40%, please order more now by emailing bill@ncdiscountpropane.com
Have a Happy New Year!
