More Snow & Arctic Air On The Way

Check your tanks and order if at or below 40%!
Many forecasts predict NC will have more arctic air and another round of snow for much of the state this Saturday in 72 hours, with more winter weather coming the following week.
A huge volume of NC propane consumers ordered propane deliveries in the last week, causing a massive delivery backlog for all North Carolina propane companies during Winter Storm Fern.
Many of our NC Discount Propane customers report "we used more propane than we thought," and some are placing orders with their tanks down near or below 20%, and this creates a very tough situation.
Do your best to not let that happen with your tank. Monitor your tank levels closely. If you don't know your tank level at this moment, GO CHECK IT NOW!
You may order if your tank is below 60% and YOU SHOULD ORDER MORE PROPANE IMMEDIATELY IF YOU ARE AT OR BELOW 40%.
If you place a propane order with a low tank level on top of a winter storm in January or February, we will do our best, but you had better have a backup heating or evacuation plan in place.
NC Discount Propane is working hard and late hours to get our outstanding deliveries made as soon as possible now that the delivery trucks started rolling again yesterday.
Some deliveries could take place at 8pm, some could arrive at 3am. All propane truck drivers in NC are working 14 hours on, 10 hours off, which is the maximum shift allowed by law.
Many regions of the state are still thawing out.Tipping is nice but not required. Some of our NCDP customers have reportedly handed tips to the drivers or placed tips in sandwich bags on their tanks with nice notes from our NC Discount Propane savings group to buy the delivery drivers some lunch or coffee.
This is a very nice optional gesture. Please manage your delivery time expectations and treat the men and women out in the cold trying to safely deliver your propane with maximum understanding, kindness, and respect.
Make every effort to clear the way to your tank of any snow, ice, or other obstructions. If you have an active delivery order with NC Discount Propane for our $1.99/gal deliveries and your tank goes below 15%, please contact us ASAP to let us know.
There is a $300 surcharge emergency delivery option, but that will not work if icy weather grounds the propane trucks for safety reasons.Stay alert, safe, and monitor your tanks and weather closely, and do not delay sending in a new order if under 40%. <<---
Thank you,
Bill
