Hurricane Season & Propane Deliveries

NC Discount Propane usually delivers your propane and tops your tank to 80% (considered full) within seven business days from your order email or call (emails preferred) under normal operating conditions. A Hurricane, snow or ice storm, flooding, or supply chain disruption can take us out of "normal conditions" and likely extend the time it takes to resupply your tank. With this being the one year anniversary of Hurricane Helene, we need to remind our customers that some propane consumers in the Helene Disaster Areas, were unable to be resupplied by any propane company for over a month! NC Discount Propane will do our best to monitor delivery times, supply chains, and forecasts to keep you advised & stocked, but please remember that once a storm is forecast anywhere in our state, orders will spike and delivery times will increase. You may order propane from us anytime your customer owned tank is below 60% and we recommend you DO ORDER going under 40% and avoid going down to 20% or lower. If your tank runs out or very low, you may order an EMERGENCY DELIVERY that should take place within 48 hours (but not always) for a surcharge of $300 on the order from our suppliers.

Please monitor your tank levels and the forecasts and consider getting your heating systems safety checked and serviced as well as checking on your smoke and CO detectors for maximum efficiency and safety.
